Soy ink
Green Effect Media uses soy-oil based inks instead of traditional petroleum-based inks on all of our printed products. Compared to complex petroleum-based inks, soy ink' boasts a relatively simple chemical composition, which means its highly efficient manufacturing process consumes very little energy.
Soy ink boasts a myriad of distinguishable advantages. One is the remarkable transparency of the compound, which produces an optimum degree of light wave reflection (perceived by the eye as stunningly vivid color), which petroleum-based inks do not create.
Soy ink can also be easily removed from paper, which is essential in paper recycling.
As the print industry evolves, we hope soy ink becomes an increasingly popular alternative.
UV coatings
Green Effect Media uses unique Aqueous and UV coatings to give all of our printed products a uniquely high gloss. The coatings contain very little or no traces of volatile organic compounds (VOC).
Sustainable Paper Supply
An essential ingredient in the print industry is paper. Green Effect Media's products are printed on paper solely from trees grown specifically for paper-making. Every year, more paper-trees are planted than cut down. |
